One practice area. Checked by hand.
AIPrivacyLawyers.com is a directory for one kind of legal work: AI, data privacy, and algorithmic risk. We built it because the people who need that counsel kept landing in directories built for everything else.
Why it exists
A general counsel looking for help with a model-licensing dispute shouldn't have to scroll past slip-and-fall attorneys to find one. Neither should the specialist they're looking for.
Narrow on purpose
We list attorneys in one field and nothing else. That focus is what makes a search here useful — and what makes a listing here mean something.
Verified before published
No profile goes live until we've confirmed bar admission and that AI or privacy law is a real, current part of the attorney's practice.
Direct contact
Inquiries go straight to the attorney. We don't screen, route, or sell leads, and we never take a share of an engagement.
Plain about how it works
Attorneys pay to be listed, and founding members get priority placement. We say so on the page, not in fine print.
How we verify attorneys
What "verified" means on this site — and, just as important, what it doesn't.
Bar admission
We check each state the attorney lists against that state's official bar or court records, and confirm the license is active and in good standing.
Practice focus
We look for evidence that AI or privacy work is ongoing: current matters described in the application, recent publications or talks, firm practice pages, or references. A single article from years ago isn't enough.
Public discipline check
We review publicly available disciplinary records in each state of admission and may decline or remove listings based on what we find.
Annual re-check
Admission status is re-verified every year. Attorneys whose license lapses or whose practice no longer fits are removed.
Verification is not an endorsement. We don't evaluate the quality of an attorney's work or guarantee results — choosing counsel is your decision. Read the full disclaimer.
